Vikram Mehta, a 30-year veteran of the technology industry, has a proven track record with both public and private enterprises including HP, IBM, Nortel, Alteon Web Systems (acquired by Nortel), Ensim (acquired by Ingram Micro), and BLADE Network Technologies (acquired by IBM). Mr. Mehta’s career has spanned from sales to marketing, product management and general management roles across the globe. In 2008, Vikram was named the Northern California Entrepreneur-of-the-Year by Ernst & Young, and the following year, he was inducted into Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur-of-the-Year National Hall-of-Fame. In 2010, BLADE Network Technologies, where he served as President and CEO, was acquired by IBM, returning original investors a record 11x return on their investment and marking IBM’s reentry in the data networking business after a ten-year hiatus. Following the acquisition of BLADE, Vikram served as Vice President for IBM’s System Networking Business Unit. Prior to his current role as the Senior Vice President of product management for our B-to-B Business Unit, Vikram served as advisor and consultant to NETGEAR’s Chairman and CEO on building a business in the Professional Audio Video (pro AV) market.
